The mattress has not really been fully used yet since the baby is an infant, but it has a comfortable feel. The vendor delivered it on time and in excellent condition. Ask me about this product again in two years!!! That’s when I’ll really have an opinion!!

Baby didn’t sleep well until I put snug fleece mattress topper under his sheet on top of the mattress. The mattress itself was WAY too hard which is bad for their spine. For the next baby I’m buying an organic latex mattress (don’t worry they are completely hypoallergenic and safe) from DAX stores for $324.

Granted the baby isn’t here yet, but we love the mattress.
My only complaint is that the mattress came wrapped in cheap plastic that ripped during shipping. One of the corners of the mattress arrived covered in typical moving van dirt/grim. I was able to brush most of it off and then cleaned the rest off with a wet rag. Still, no one wants a new item to arrive dirty.

I ordered the naturepedic mattress- usually uncomfortable ordering online but when I went to store where I purchased crib (unhappy that I was informed 2 weeks for delivery and this was 5 weeks from date of order at store)- the sales person advised that I shop online for mattress.
Although nervous, I took the plunge and within the week, I received the mattress in perfect condition.
very happy

I bought this mattress for my baby’s crib for his upcoming arrival. We haven’t used it yet, but I am really pleased with how firm the mattress is, there are no funny smells (compared to other mattresses) and am excited that it’s made in the US with organic materials. The size allows it to fit perfectly in the crib and it seems to be very durable (great for when I use it for the toddler bed and he begins jumping up and down on it!). It is a little heavy but I’d rather it be heavy than flimsy. I feel much more at ease knowing my baby will be sleeping on such a great, safe bed. Well worth the money spent, considering how much time and for how long it will be used.

The Naturepedic No-Compromise Organic is a great mattress! I have used it for two years with my daughter and do not have a single complaint. I just posted a full review at http://www.babyreview.info/2010/01/naturepedic-no-compromise-organic-cotton-mattress/ if anyone is interested.
