Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center Videos

  • Several years ago I had the pleasure of visiting Alaska. Not only was it incredibly beautiful, but it was filled to the brim with wildlife. I practically stumbled into wildlife everywhere I went.

Seeing grizzly bears, wolves, bison (with babies!), moose, and bald eagles face-to-face was an incredible experience - one that will remain with me for the rest of my life.

I traveled there in June so I thought I’d pay a little tribute to the fantastic time I had there, seeing as we’re smack in the middle of June right now.

So I thought I’d gather a few videos on Alaska and Alaskan wildlife which highlight the work from the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC).

AWCC is a non-profit organization on 140 acres of pristine Alaskan wilderness. The center takes injured and orphaned animals and provides love and care to them until they can be released back into the wild. If the animals can’t be released, they are given permanent homes at AWCC.

If you ever travel to Alaska, which I highly recommend you do, please consider visiting the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center so you can experience the magnificence of the many animals in their care.
